Inexcon Obras y Servicios inaugurated yesterday in Trujillo its pilot project of sustainable tourist apartments with the name of ‘El Hospedaje del Rey’. This entrepreneurial profile construction company diversifies its businesses in the tourist area, breaking with the conventional and promoting the first sustainable tourist apartments in Trujillo and one of the first in Extremadura.
According to statements by its manager, Francisco Rey, they are sustainable from construction to exploitation for several reasons. First, a 19th-century building, an old palace house, has been rehabilitated. In its construction phase, the demolition waste has been transformed into recycled aggregates for later use in an urbanization work such as trench filling. Regarding its facilities, an air conditioning and ACS system has been implemented by aerothermal energy. All lighting is led. The entire building has been encapsulated with thermal insulation and the exterior carpentry are made of PVC and glass with low thermal emissivity. With all this we aim, in addition to guest comfort, energy savings around 60%. What supposes the diminution of broadcasts of CO².
Regarding personal hygiene amenities, they are presented in recycled containers and their liquids are made up of natural products. The Tourist Apartments ‘The Hospedaje del Rey’ are composed in this initial phase by two Premium Suites apartments with accommodation for four and five guests. We intend to offer “luxury at the best price”. In the words of Francisco Rey, it is an accommodation, above all, for families and couples who want to enjoy art, culture, nature, an innovative cuisine that values the product and, all this , in a unique setting such as Trujillo.
‘The Hospedaje del Rey’ will present several exhibitions of local and Extremaduran artists. The first is by the painter and sculptor Julio Corrales; Tailor-made programmed routes, and bicycle and parking service. In addition, other complementary services are presented, which seek to complete the tourist offer of the establishment and promote the circular economy.
This is a new business challenge with which we want Inexcon Obras y Servicios to be more competitive, profitable and sustainable.
